Terms
Using Student Assist.
The short version: it's free, it's guidance rather than a promise, and what you put in stays yours.
Last updated 29 October 2026
What it is
Student Assist turns what you've studied, built and worked on into a career plan: graduate roles your evidence fits, adverts ranked against it, a study plan for the gaps, help with your CV and a tracker for applications. It is free for students. It's an early pilot, so features may change or be unavailable.
It is run by Qayum Software Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 17432547). Contact us at hello@constellation.careers.
Guidance, not a guarantee
Fit scores, matches, CV suggestions and study plans are worked out from what you entered and from public information about roles. They help you decide; they don't predict whether you'll get a job. Check an advert and an employer yourself before you apply.
Job adverts come from other sites, or are made-up samples marked as samples. We don't check employers and aren't part of any application you make. Study links go to other sites with their own terms.
Your part
- Only enter things that are true about you. CV suggestions leave gaps for you to fill rather than invent facts, and filling them honestly is up to you.
- Don't put other people's personal details in your plan, notes or course feedback.
- Course feedback should be honest and about the course, not about named people.
- Don't try to read other people's data, overload the site or get round its limits.
Your content
What you enter is yours. We use it only to run the service for you, as the privacy notice describes. University staff see course feedback and, if you choose to share, a summary of how your plan is going.
Ending it
You can stop using Student Assist at any time and remove what this browser holds from your profile, or ask us to delete your account. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, or close the pilot, and would tell you first where we can.
The legal bit
The service is provided as it is, without warranties. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have by law that can't be limited. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
